but I was hoping to get to 800,000m, but work got in the way. the drops in Feb and Mar where tappering for nationals.  the drop in april was the birth of my 3rd daugther.

in sept my project hit some major road blocks and I put in 120hrs of OT for the second half of the year, as well as, 18 road trips.  the only reason my totals for dec were up is I got in 30,400 in the last 6 days of the year ;)

Signed up for 2012 and with this years experience I have set my goal for 700,000m.  I&amp;#39;ll get a good buffer this week swimming 5x ~5000m with the kids.

Should have driven up to Oakland and joined the Manatees at HNU. We had 8 swimmers at 8am and 9 at 9am (what a coincidence!). Plenty of space for you to have joined us.

Thanks, Trout, for the encouragement.  I would love to do a 10K open water but I&amp;#39;m too slow:cane:. I understand that we have to finish the 10K in less than 4 1/2 hours and my 10K in the pool last June was 4hr 49 min, and that was with a line to follow and 200 pushes off the wall!  This past year I worked on increasing yardage, so maybe this year I can work on increasing speed. Not sure I&amp;#39;ll be able to hold you off with your daily distance. I&amp;#39;m definitely not making 750 this year. Looks like 680-690 for me.
