It seems to me it was a couple guys on Club Wolverine (Bobby Savulich and coach Mark Hill) who tried to get something going, so put this meet together. The fact that swimmers are willing to swim even though the prize money isn&#39;t great shows they&#39;re interested in the concept and are trying to support it. They&#39;ve got to start somewhere. If this generates some excitement maybe they can build on it and eventually get big sponsors and bigger prize money. I agree. Besides, the prize will never be huge. What seems like a reasonable target? Do that, and get women involved. $10 admission seems reasonable. I would consider going if I was in the area. What will they do to keep the audience entertained between events?
