I am a sport physical therapist that works does aquatic and land based PT. I have had patients return to swimming after reverse total shoulder. I would highly suggest finding an aquatic PT in your area or a sports focused clinic who can help return to swim. It will also depend on your surgeon's preference and how the shoulder generally progresses.

RE: Competitive Swimming Post Reverse Shoulder Replacement

I’m getting the reverse-shoulder replacement in a few weeks.
