Thanks to everyone at Nationals. It was another superb event. I love interacting with everyone who has a passion for our sport. It's so good to see happy, healthy people. I saw many great swims and a whole lotta fist-pumping (the good kind). Congrats to all. The only major negative I witnessed was a very few "salmon run" swimmers who felt they just had to pass in the warmup and warmdown pools. We are all in the same boat. Be patient and wait. There will be gaps that develop so you can do your sprints or whatever. I certainly didn't like taking one on the chin and I heard from several others that had scares and/or scars.

Elaine, congratulations on placing in the 1650 today! (I just glanced through today's results) Thanks, M! It helps that I only had to beat out one person in my age group to win a medal. ;) Call it a participation medal, but I was very happy to have a souvenir to take home! :agree:

I made a massage appt. in advance and got a confirmation. But the address is not the pool. Where will the massage tables be? The massage tables are in the event building next to the pool where registration is.

90% chance of thundershowers on Thursday. :badday: Thankfully, it's an indoor pool, but will they still shut things down if there is thunder? No. The pool is properly grounded. We will not stop the meet for weather.

Question about parking - The travel page for Nationals and the first email update talked about parking being $8/day. Email Update #3 said parking is $5/day. Was that a typo?
