I reserved a room online at University Place last November, and about a week ago a charge from them appeared on my credit card statement. When I called to inquire, I was told that everyone using our group code was charged an advance deposit covering one night&#39;s stay, and that, while those making reservations by phone had been told about the deposit, those making them online had not been informed. So, if you made your reservations at UP online and weren&#39;t expecting any charges until August, you might want to check your cc statement!
(After some back and forth I was able to have the deposit refunded while keeping my orignal reservation).:)<div style="clear:both;"></div>
