Also, the citizens of Fairfax need to do something else with their time on Zones weekend than hogging up the roads in downtown Fairfax and 123. :) Welcome to the Northern Virginia suburbs.

Zones was well run as always. Warmups could have been at 8AM. I was on deck at 8:20 AM on Sunday and there was nothing going on. It would help because we don't get done til 4PM. Also, the citizens of Fairfax need to do something else with their time on Zones weekend than hogging up the roads in downtown Fairfax and 123. :)

The Colonies Zone Short Course Yards Champonships will be held April 15 - 17, 2011 at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. The Entry Form, Timeline, Psych Sheet and Team Roster are all available at: www.patriotmasters.org/ColoniesZone2011.htm. This year, you can register on line. Online entry deadline is in 3 days.

The 1650 is full but there are still 46 spots left in the 1000 free if anyone wants to enter it instead. We had a 24 hour glitch with our online entries but everything's back working properly now. Sorry if any of you tried to enter the meet but couldn't during our little snafu.

Tom's right. I'm seeing new people enter the 1650 every 15 minutes this evening. You can actually see how many people have entered the 1000 free and 1650 free here: www.swimphone.com/.../event_order.cfm so you'll when they're almost full. I am in awe of everyone who swims the 200 fly/400 IM/1650 free. I did attempt the 400 IM once as a masters swimmer but haven't tried a 200 fly or 1650 free since college.
