Well, maybe the water could have been a little warmer. The water was around 58 degrees at the start and warmed up to 62-63 degrees as the swimmers got closer to the finish. The weather was perfect, 83 degrees, with very little wind. I was a fast, close race. The first 3 solo swimmers were within seconds of eachother. It was almost a running race at the end. 20 of 25 solo swimmers finished the swim. The NY CIBBOWS group had a great showing and they were a lot of fun.
