No more 200 backs however...after my dramatic upset of Shaker I'm never swimming the event again...can't get any better than that

RE: Arizona SCY 2008 Meet

A few years ago my wife and I spent a weekend in Big Sur (which I highly recommend). Anyway, the owner of a gallery told us that Big Sur isn't a place, it's a state of mind. Perhaps Arizona is like that.

RE: Arizona SCY 2008 Meet

You described the same events I am planning... plus a few off races that spread my races out even for the day.

RE: Arizona SCY 2008 Meet

Interestingly, it appears that this meet will actually be held in the state of Arizona.

Although, I suspect, three AZ master's swimmers living in CO won't make it. At least I can speak for two of them. Maybe Arizona Masters can take the team champs at the COMSA meet!

RE: Arizona SCY 2008 Meet

What events are you planning to do Al? In the past, I've done the 800/1000, then most *** and mid-distance free at meets.

Have to decide what will work best for me and if I want to just do a daytrip, or spend a few days down in Tucson. It is about 1-1/4 hr from my house to the U of A area, probably a little more with the current I-10 construction.

RE: Arizona SCY 2008 Meet

Absolutely, that's my home pool.

Weather normally is 75-80 degrees, pending poor weather of course.

Usually is well run and lasts until 2 pm.
